..3rd attempt at this..1st power went off then ah pressed some f**kin button that deleted it all 
....The question ahd posed at the end of the last chapter was how would we cope without a rally to galvanise us 
...itl come as no surprise to hear that we coped rather well an enjoyed a pretty stress free year ;D The year had started with mah 1st meetin with a Mr Billy Kirk, who was down in Newton with Groggy, who was buyin an old Bajaj off the legendary Ice Cream Tony. His name may crop up again(billys..no tonys ;D). Another new face to appear was a young gogetter from Stranraer who went by the name of Vespasuper, a man full of visionary ideas but who disappeared after tormentin the life out of certain people, never to b seen again(think ah seen him once ,but ah hid..just in case 
). Kelso would b our 1st rally of the year, where we met Billy again, who asked if he could join...aye. It also seen me breakin down on the way home 7 mile out o kelso...leavin me to watch the league decider in a pub full o fans o the Sellic 
...while tryin to keep a straight face ;D....the highlight o the year had to b Rothesay in the company of Andy an Toby from Makin Tracks sc in Stranraer..c photo section for details ;D..this rally also seen me breakin a finger, leavin me havin to drive home with just 2 fingers workin the throttle,an no gloves 
Another highlight of the year was Roy Cloys weddin in Penrith, which seen the McClearys an Wullie resplendant in kilts 
a couple of trips across the water were also squeezed in..includin the never to b forgotten (no matter how hard u try) trip to Portrush ,also in the company of the MTSC 
;D the year ended with a trip to dumfries to Jen Hills birthday bash where we met Billy again an Alex for the 1st time. 2010 was to star with a drunken nite out in Ayr at an Aces do..f**k me ,was ah ill the next day 
..1st rally was to b the Globetrotters 25th ann in Crawford. Billy had got in touch to say he had a few boys interested in joinin and this turned out to b our 1st meetin with Baba,Anthony,John an JC..A couple of days later though, we were hit with the bombshell news that Dav,mah right hand man throughout mah presidency,and without whom the Lsc wouldve folded long ago, was selling the legendary "T5 with character "and was taking a break..hopefully he"ll return someday( the T5 didnt stay away long ) More new starts arrived by the time we"d reached Kelso, Iain, Scott and the Makin Tracks comedy duo ,Andy An Toby. ;D. This resulted in the Lsc bein represented at a few more rallys than before, given their proximity to the border.The year ended with a club do in Newton, which appeared to b fairly well recieved. 2011 started with a healthy turnout in Scarborough, me ,the wife an goonie headin to the ROI for Sheer Beers rally. The club took in a good few more rallys throughout the summer,includin even more trips across the water. New starts continued to appear,including Shaun , our youngest ever. Despite the club bein recognised as a Newton Stewart club , the increased membership from Dumfries and Annan meant that the end of season doo would be takin place in Annan..and a great succes it was..a healthy sum of money bein raised for Combat Stress, a very deserving charity. It was at this time ah concluded mah time was up, tbh ahd long thought it time to pass the baton on (reminds me o Phoenix Nights when Brian passes it to Jerry ;D), the club in need of someone to drive it on. Ah took the decision to resign live on Facebook(if ahd done it on here no thingy wouldve seen it an ahd probably still b chief ;D) An offer was put out for prospective replacements an Billy stepped up to the plate. As ahve previously stated, 2011 was a bad year for established leaders, the world losing some great men...Osama , Kim Jung Ill, TheColonel, Mubarak, Berlusconi..the list is endless, with my resignation ,whilst not makin the same headlines, probably the least expected ;D Ahd like to thank everyone who has suffered mah stewardship an would like to wish Billy an his new team all the best for the future...just remember every club needs a pain in the arse, and ah shall try hard not to b it (actually ahm only jokin here..best of luck)......Thank You and Goodnight ;D ;D ;D
